Florian Café is open 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 12 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Although the restaurant is newly minted, Florian mimics the old-world charm of the nearly 300 year old famed Venetian coffeehouse, Caffe Florian. Imported Italian tiles mosaic the walls from floor-to-ceiling; a sparkling chandelier gives a warm glow to the forest green walls and burgundy banquettes; and six bronze sculptures created and crafted in Pietrasanta, Italy, adding a richness and spirit of Italian history and art to the design.

Florian’s menu offers classic Italian dishes interpreted by Bologna-born chef Brando de Oliveira. The menu features pastas made in house, thin crust pizza, steaks, and local and imported fish (selected by our fishmonger daily).

Florian Café is conveniently located at 225 Park Avenue South (between 18th & 19th Street) close to Union Square, Gramercy Park, Beth Israel Medical Center, New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, and New York University.
